Basketball Summer Camp is a Slam Dunk

On June 11, 2018 our Men’s Basketball Team held its annual summer camp for local kids looking to improve their basketball fundamentals and have a blast while doing it. Head Coach Andrew Vasher and Assistant Coach Steven Terry, along with their student-athletes, participated in a week full of drills and scrimmages set out to boost each attendee’s skills on the court. Days consisted of lots of fun challenges and twists that made sure everyone was having a good time. Despite the focus of this camp as being the team’s annual fundraiser, the coaches and student-athletes provided a great opportunity for the Hartnell community to come check out their local college, meet new friends, and shoot some hoops in the process. Upcoming freshman players were there as assistant coaches – they are familiar with the sport and with Hartnell. Way to get some practice before the semester starts. Go Panthers!
