Records Continue To Fall As Panthers Wrap Up Their Season
The Hartnell Swim and Dive Team just finished their season this past Thursday, Friday, and Saturday competing in the Coast Conference Championships at De Anza College. The Panthers finished 6th out of 10 with some historic performances in the process.
On the men's side Justin Blankenship earned 3rd place in the 400 IM and also finished 5th in the 1650 freestyle and 8th in the 200 IM. Allen Jarvio further broke his 100 IM record with a time of 57.51. Isaac Delong took 4th in the 400 IM and in his final swim as a Panther exactly tied our own Coach Tom Campbell's 100 Freestyle with a time of 49.07. This record has stood for over 50 years.
The team now heads into the offseason to rest, recover, and get ready for next season!
