Gavilan Too Much for Men's Basketball

The Hartnell Men's Basketball team hit the road to take on Gavilan College on Friday January 10th. The Panthers couldn't recover from a slow start falling to the Rams 111-81. Daniel Bost had 20 points, four assists and five rebounds. Mason Lyman added 10 points and four rebounds. Miguel Velez chipped in with 15 points and seven rebounds of the bench. Cisco Narewski scored seven points and added eight rebounds.

The Panthers defense did their best to limit one of the top scorers in the league and the state, but even with that, Gavilan's (6-12, 1-1) Kobe Ordonio managed to score 36 points. Ordonio is 2nd in the state scoring 28.9 points per game.

The Panthers (4-13, 0-2) will look to ge their first conference win next Wednesday when they welcome West Valley. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
