Bio
Prior to Hartnell: Danny competed in two seasons of track & field and one of cross country at King City High School. As a senior, he was 18th at the PCAL Championship and 19th at the CCS Championship. His 16:39 5k performance at the CIF Championship helped the Mustangs to a fourth place team finish. On the track, Danny was a CCS qualifier as a senior in the 1600m and a double qualifier at 1600/3200 to the PCAL Championship.
"Danny is a huge talents based on the total number of seasons competed in. Several of our freshman ran all four years just to run what Danny learned in about one and half! We didn't get to see Danny much this summer but he did start his preparation early and he has stepped right in running right along with some of our veterans. He's very efficient and has the South County heart much like Jesus Avalos. That's an intangible that will help us a lot come Norcals and state."
