Bio

Freshman Year at Hartnell: Did not attend school in the fall but joined the Hartnell track and field team in the spring. He placed in the Coast Conference 3k steepelchase running 10:44.

Prior to Hartnell: Was a member of the Greenfield High School cross country team that qualified to the CIF State Championshiip after placing second at the CCS Championship. He placed 14th at the MTAL Championship and 44th overall in his only CCS Championship. At Woodward Park, Alexis ran 17:21 in his first attempt at the 5km layout.

"OJ is an anomally! The guy has the tools to be a great runner but he's still figuring out how much he likes all the trainning. A very good racer, he just needs to put the work and I think he will be very happy and surprised by how he can do. In track he really opened our eyes with a fluidity you don't see without a lot of practice in the steepelchase event. Watch out for OJ much like he did in high school right around the end of the season. He's got the Woodward Park experience and could move up dramatically over the course of the season."

Course Personal Bests/Track Bests:

Woodward Park: 17:22
Toro Park: 17:11

1500m: 4:30.73
3000m steeplechase: 10:44.68
